Spiritual

My mom says that I am a pretty spiritual person.  I am.  I believe in God.  And I believe in a greater purpose to this life than just living, breathing, and going from day to day with no substance.  But of course, breathing is absolutely necessary.  Life without meaning is like cookies...without the sugar.  It doesn't make any sense, does it?

Do you believe that we go somewhere after we die?  Or what do we do?

I am just curious.

But this post is not just about that kind of stuff.  It's about being spiritual.  I not only consider myself a religious person, (which is spiritual) but also a person that is contentedly obsessed with learning about life and how to appreciate nature.  Aha!  We meet another word with an important definition.  I believe that used in this context, nature applies to EVERYTHING.  The way you eat your corn flakes with milk in the morning.  Why the sun shines.   The way you look at me with silver eyes.  The way the mother and daughter interact and communicate.  The soft padding of my kitty's paws.  The exposure of light on film, and what it creates.

I am in love with art.  With nature.  This is what makes me a spiritual person.

Would you like to see something that I created?  I created a collage for the I HEART Project Part Two on this blog: The Drifter and the Gypsy

With my art, I hope to bundle up some of life's important things in a cute little package, and mail it straight to you.  I know who I am, and I want to share it with you.  I want to make aware what I find important, what I love, what I think is brilliant, magnificent, and of utmost beauty and gorgeousness.
