Today I gave a talk in Church.  It was in front of about 100 people.  (I counted).

I'd have to say that I've gotten much better at public speaking since five years ago.  I don't quiver as much.  I remember to breathe deeply in and out; it's not a race to finish speaking as quickly as I can.  I enunciated each word, and kept in mind that I should add some variation to my tone of voice (so I didn't sound like a robot).  (Not that I sound like one, normally).

Yesterday there was a swim meet.  We all did great.  I went a 1:15 in my breast, (best of the season by two seconds).  And I dropped five-tenths of a second in my 50 free.  I can do it.  Yes, I can.  Yes, I can.  I tell myself these things over and over because sometime, I know it will stick in my brain and all doubt will be gone.

BE GONE, DOUBT.  BEGONEBEGONEBEGONE.
