the lights are still turned off at night.
the register still clicks open and shut.
people still giggle.
people devote their life to something.

time is just ticking and ticking and ticking.
except, i really think it's only a fraction of time.
in reality.

chairs are still pushed in and out.
tears are still poured.
smiles are always shared.
eyelashes flutter.
snow is crunched.

snow tastes good.
