"what's been drainin' your happiness?"

Hey!

So - I've been having a delightful time with many of my summer days.

But I am here to answer the question above. ^


We all have the opportunities to be happy.

And we all have the opportunities to be sad.


I like to grab life by the horns and be joyous and excited with simplicity.


Sometimes, we are just dumped on with a pile of poop.
A large, symbolic pile of poop that stinks so bad and has worms in it.

And those worms want to eat you,
After they tear you apart and suck on your blood and spit their boogers on your face.



I am still working on trying to find the positive in every single situation.  It's pretty difficult because it's not only the small things that I love, but it's the small things that I hate.  Of course, not the same things.

I extremely dislike mosquitoes.  Whenever I get a bite, I can't get that stupid itchy bump off my mind and I have a difficult time seeing what's so great about the situation I'm in.  On the other hand, I really love flowers and smiles.  And I love making little kids laugh.

Question:  What has been draining my happiness?

Answer: SATAN.


He just wants us to be unhappy.  So, just because of that, I am going to be happy.  Whenever I am at work and my energy is draining from within me, I start to sing hymns.  It works like magic.

Take that, Satan.


Sadness always passes.  And happiness is always there, I just need to continuously seek it.  I seek my happiness through Jesus Christ, our Savior.


I hope that whoever you are, no matter how lame or awesome you think you are, no matter what the weather is like outside, and no matter what others think of you, that you are having a really great day.  Because our Heavenly Father wants us to be happy.
