if my husband loved me, we would both lay on our backs in a field of white velvet daisies, adoring the sky framed with tall, prickly trees adorned with little birds.
if my husband loved me, he would appreciate my humor, and enjoy being with me.
if my husband loved me, he would help me cook in the kitchen.
or maybe he would just scoop me up in his arms and give me a big ol' kiss, on the lips.
then we would have a flour fight.
if my husband loved me, he would make origami with me and then we would paint our walls pretty pictures of giraffes, slivers of grass, airplanes scraping the ceilings, and bees sizzling everywhere.
okay...maybe we would just paint that on paper.
if my husband loved me, he would put the rubbermaids away where they belonged.
if my husband loved me, he would tell me i look beautiful, when i feel pretty and when i don't.
if my husband loved me, he would let me compliment him all the time...on his face, his personality, his hot bod, and his amazin' skillz.
if my husband loved me, he would never put me down.
if my husband loved me, he would work WITH me as a partner in raising our kids.
if my husband loved me, he would call me to ask me what i am doing, and tell me that he loves me so much.
if my husband loved me, he would listen to me. even to all my worries. and he would give me some guidance.
if my husband loved me, he would give me butterfly kisses.
if my husband loved me, he would leave me special notes in the refrigerator and on my nightstand next to my phone.
all this time, i have been thinking of: "what would my future husband do if he loved me?"
but really, i should be saying all that i will do for the one man i will love forever and always.
when i find the man ill love for eternity, i'll just love him and love him to death and forever and forever.
i will serve him, trust him, be confident in him, loyal to him, proud of him, and will have fun with him.
