Reverse Life
Wake her up during the darkest night,Among grey field flowers, and fireflies
Buzzing for nothing.
Fix the shallow weights of water,
Setting into the sunken boat.
Remember each desire and hope,
No,
only imagine what cannot be done,
which can be done.
Walk along the pebbled stone street,
Saving each firefly, setting one free.
Turn the light on,
Then smash it to pieces,
Only to find time rewinds.
Again
And too many is twice.
Fold your sheets up into a little round bundle,
Then throw them out like the flight of an eagle
Onto the comfort of your frozen bed.
Look at the sun,
let realization occur.
Then slide on your sunglasses,
Only to find there are no shades.
But ignore each waking surprise,
And unexpected reality.
Imagine the options
And see what comes with
the reverse.
By the way, listen to silence and you will enjoy it. we all need a bit of peace in our lives that only comes from listening to nothing.
No ipod, music, radio, TV, just you and the sun.
Oh yeah :)
