Because I swam really sucky. Really. Really. Sucky.
I was laying there all pitiful: "O, woe is me!"
When I remembered my teammates.
"I should be cheering for them."
But then I remembered my face. And it's stupid redness and my red nose cause of my weeping.
So I got up in progressions.
I wanted to cry longer, though. I remembered the quote that goes something like this: "crying is good for you."
But there is a time and place for crying. Not at a swim meet.
But I am making cookies now. I love the dough. I can't stop eating it.
Another BUT...
MY SWIM TEAM WON BARTLETT. both BOYS AND GIRLS.
Our team rocks. I love everyone!
(note to self)
Mallory, it's not always about you.
Love,
Mallory
P.S. I am tired of being tired and sad about not accomplishing my goals!
But I will keep going. As Strong as I can be.
