it turns out that if your name is Mallory and if you run for almost every day of the week for many weeks in a row, you will earn yourself some injuries. knee pain. and lots of shin splints. hip pain. and sore ankles.
no running for me. in fact, no walking. limping.
it's alright. i've recognized that it isn't the end of the world. even if i am very disappointed. in myself.
but, i did run my best. every race. i gave it my all.
i had some great races earlier in the season, and i am proud of myself for those.
"once a runner, always a runner."
no going back now.
