whenever i am very stressed about something, or am so nervous that i think my throat will pop out of my body and run away, i like to take a moment to just breathe.
many of us search for something that will help us become a better person. most of the time, it is through other people. however, one of our strongest aspects and something that we should each pursue is the strength that we have within ourselves. it's so important to gain confidence through who you ARE.
not through the size of your boobs.
not through how much of a drink you can hold.
not through the clothes you own.
not through the car you drive.
not through how many sports you do.
etcetera.
i've seen many teenagers seek for attention and for a boost of self esteem through being in a relationship. before you start dating someone, you need to learn who you are and why you love who you are.
wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and tell yourself (out loud): "Hey, I look nice today."
stop bringing yourself down. and other people down.
woohoo for love.
