I am writing this post from my phone.
So, today was a new school day. The first one. Of my senior year.
Of course I am excited...moreso to be done.
To be done though...it means scarier things.
Like college. Moving away from my dear, dear home.
And decisions. So, so many important decisions.
While I am dwelling
In the future here,
I'd like to take a minute and say some things I'm grateful for:
My mommy and dad always come and say goodnight to me.
The amazing leftovers I can feast on after an incredibly full day of seminary, academics, swimming, and work.
My wonderful sweatpants welcome me to my cozy bed. (covered in cat hair :( )
I am grateful that I am not a burn victim. That I have two legs and arms that function properly and eyes that can see a mile away and a smile that makes me feel better. That's right. Does your own smile make you feel better? It should.
I love when my mom speaks to her birdies outside. Even though I get annoyed sometimes.
My sister and I always stay up later than we should, just talking.
My bedroom walls are awesome. They are my favorite colors.
I love my white curtains.
I love my parents hugs.
My toiletry bag is really cool. It has many compartments to store feminine products like tampons and soap and a toothbrush.
I like [LOVE] all the blankets in our house.
I enjoy going to sleep in a warm room.
I love our swing bench and peaceful summer evenings [no bugs].
I love seeing our little doggies in their little dwelling outside, barking at butterflies. Like that alliteration, huh? Me too.
P.s. I also like my hair.

you have THE prettiest smile.
Enjoy senior year. 4 years later and I still think about all the fun we had that year.
